What sparks your joy? What are your most valued belongings? What things would you would save in a fire? Our emotional relationship with our possessions plays a significant role in how we respond to these questions. Through exploring minimalism to maximalism, tidying with KonMari to hoarding – this project follows our powerful reliance on and attachment to our clutter.

'Clutter for Comfort' is a blanket for warmth, security and safety. Inspired by the minimalist lifestyle, this blanket holds pockets for only our essentials. It is a puzzle piece of our personal identity and physical manifestation of our emotional baggage.

Our conflicting decluttering experience is captured using the digital form and language. This website encourages you to consider both your digital and physical clutter.

'Conversations with Clutter' unfolds the lives and stories of our clutter and why we hold on to things, one clutter at a time, one page at a time.
