As I continue to develop as a designer, I hope to improve continuously, pick up new knowledge and skills, constantly challenge myself and embrace the latest technology. I value users' needs and adopt a human-centred design approach to improve one's mental health using new technology.
Most people have limits, including limitations in social situations, this indicator of social responsiveness is referred to as a 'social battery'. For example, an introverted person's social battery will decrease when interacting in a large group as their unease and anxiousness increases. In comparison, an extrovert's social battery will increase when people in a social setting surround them.
'Recharge' is a buddy application to help users create a self-care routine to manage their social battery. This application projects its contents onto AR glasses in the form of a 'Social Battery' icon and a 'Virtual Buddy' icon, which will give the user prompts on how to control and reduce their unease and anxiousness and therefore increase their social battery level.
