How can we reflect on living between a physical and digital reality? This is the question I explore in my project 'Memory in The Digital Age’. It is a topic that is more pertinent than ever in all of our lives. I am especially interested in the effects of technology on our natural memory systems and attention spans. My work explores all things memory – both natural and digital. I explore the contrast between digital and natural memory systems, the outsourcing of human memory to tech and how this digital shift has changed the social perception of forgetting forever. In my work I want to explore and question these issues and also create meaningful ways of connecting people back to the living world.

'OFFLINE'; An activity pack. In a world where we spend so much time online, outsourcing our memory to tech, I created a pack that the user takes with them outside and is a non-screen based activity to do. The exercise booklet inside contains prompts that encourage paying close attention to the environment around the user whilst engaging all of their senses. It is a fun filled kit that encourages the user to explore the outdoors and can be used solo or with a friend
