Over the recent lockdowns when football games were played behind closed doors, it further proved that football is nothing without the fans. They are the absolute life force of football and play a vital role in keeping the football globe spinning. I took this opportunity to make a project about the fans' feelings.
There are some beautiful instances when football touches fans’ hearts, happy moments that make them laugh, sad ones that make them cry and certain situations that can cause uproar, anger and can leave fans feeling betrayed by players or managers. This project is about highlighting the feeling of betrayal through illustration, design and animation.
