My work has always found a way to include the past in a present context. Experience projects itself into my work involuntarily, therefore I have chosen to make works that represent these feelings of nostalgia, but in a contemporary sense.

With the use of collected memories, I do my best to present these places from my subconscious, abstracted by memory and without the direct use of artefacts. By allowing my sentiment to change these memories, I've created a surreal space where a new narrative can be made.

It involves channelling my feelings into landscapes and, on occasion, including figures to emphasise the bond between memory and feeling. Sometimes the figure becomes the landscape; these places seem real and at the same time, alien.
