My work is an exploration of the concept of obscurity and layering through a range of media. I am fascinated by the evolution of photography from the camera obscura to the digital age, and I use these methods to document and explore the delicacy and femininity of a variety of flora and greenery.
I have developed an interest in the process of cyanotypes, a practice that continues into and inspires my work as a final year paint graduate. I used different light sources such as the sunlight from my back garden and the torch from my phone to create a series of floral cyanotypes on photography paper, which are then developed in my makeshift darkroom at home.

I have focused mainly on the art elements of tone and colour in my paintings, and use the theme of flora to explore the idea of obscurity and feminism in my own way.
