I am an artist based in Dundalk, County Louth. My art practice consists of watercolour painting, sketching using pastels, pencils and charcoal, and printmaking. My prints consist of lino prints and intaglios.

My work explores how elements from nature combine with urban aspects – this has come about from living in an urban environment and appreciating the nature around me. For instance, 'snow trails', which are created by nature and people, and also nocturnal scenes, such as a lit window behind a tree.

I generate ideas from a mix of photographs and sketches on site. Other influences are simply vibrant colours and how they stand out. Classical subjects such as flowers, trees, fruit and water feature in my paintings.
