My project focuses on continuing Christian Worship in old Ireland by examining Old Donagh Cemetery and recognising the history and knowledge it has to offer to our generation.

Through my outcomes the viewer will be able to get a grasp of the intricate and complicated designs the stonecutters were able to achieve hundreds of years ago. People from across the globe will be able to trace lost relatives back to where they are buried seeing that the area was a place of exile during the famine. Stories from the locals and folklore surrounding the cemetery can now be heard and appreciated by tourists while obtaining a sense of gratitude for what a wonderful place this is.

Hopefully through this project the life of one of the oldest graveyards in Ireland will live on for the foreseeable future.
