As restrictions come to an end and our world begins to regain the speed at which it once moved, many find themselves left in the proverbial dust. Almost two years of lock-downs in the effort to fight the pandemic has created a new normal for many, one of long days spent at home and little to no travel outside of our immediate localities. As I regain my sense of adventure and begin to move further and further outside of the streets I find familiar, I find myself often rushing and failing to take in the sights and sounds that would have captured my attention in the past. With this work I have sought to regain this sense of exploration by focusing on aspects of architecture which I would often not notice to re-contextualise them as eye-catching moving image pieces.
