My work is a multimedia exploration and reflection on the impact of Communism on both modern day society in Czechia, and on myself as someone who grew up during this time. Through interviews and testimonies of those who lived through this societal transition, I explore the current day-to-day life and mores of Czech society.

Through a mix of media from 3D animation, sculpture, sound and sewing, I ask and explore the aspects that both intrigue and frustrate me, and consider the future for my nation. I gather these as a collective that puts in perspective an evolving society that has been profoundly forged by not just Communism, but by a rapid immersive transition to a materialistic, capitalist society.
