This collection of photographs aims to explore the disconnection I feel between myself and the people of Dublin City. Be it passing thousands of faces a day, having little to no contact with neighbours, or the general chaos of a capital city, the lack of community present in Dublin is a stark contrast to the warmth and acknowledgement I felt, growing up in a smaller county.

Yet the people of this city still fascinate me, over the course of this project I have gained an appreciation for the people I've captured and, in a way, my camera has allowed me to develop a connection to a community of faces that I now recognise.
