What is the rhythm, the balance, the 'dance' that each of us exercises in relation to what surrounds us? How do places, social relations, the randomness of events that occur, society, habits and rules impact on the individual and then return to society again?

My research is at times inquisitorial, asking where and how we meet with the collective, and how we find ourselves looking at ourselves stripped of the collective.

Themes such as identity, alienation, and isolation recur in my work. Mediums such as painting, photography, and video coordinate to look at a human peculiarity, a feeling, a real context, or a broader view of our surroundings, and then merge together in a defined rhythm.

The self, the other, the surroundings and its relationships: the dynamics and rhythm of these eternal movements and how they impact each other and vice versa, represents the drive of my art.
