Behaviours are hard to shift, and spinal injuries in particular can be devastating to surviving victims. According to Dr. Keith Synnott, “the cervical segment [of the neck] is a lot more exposed to major injuries”.
'UAir' is a wireless activated airbag. Co-created with motorcyclists, it is designed to universally fit any motorcycle helmet, offering bikers unrivalled safety. Through a ‘plug and play’ solution it offers protection against hyperextension of the rider’s neck in the event of a motor accident.
This project is a direct response to feedback from motorcyclists, road safety advisors as well as medical experts. 'UAir’s' goal is to enhance and encourage the use of cervical protection within the biker community. 'UAir' is a product designed by motorcyclists for motorcyclists.
