The drive behind this arrangement was to bring about work that would convey a sense of care. It is an attentive response to those people who we regard, attend to, or concern ourselves with.

The use of materials is calculated. Found objects made of wood and glass are pieced together or disassembled. New items are produced using clay and plaster. The durable and solid materials are juxtaposed with wool and fabric. A grey clay egg is wrapped with white knitting. A smashed glass coffee jug is reconstructed and its cracks lined with blue wool. Layers of crocheting fasten firewood together.

More 2D work unfolded from the study also. Glass panels were draped with lines of wool. More subtle colors of blue, white and gray are chosen throughout the pieces.

The wool is wrapped, entwined or even bandaged, with the intention of bringing about more tender substances.
