This body of work explores formative geography; one's relationship to location and how it is informed by personal events. I am interested in ambivalent relationships to space and in considering how one verbalises a relationship of this manner.

This is navigated using the village where I grew up as a reference point. Personal anecdotes ground the narrative through the use of anecdote walls and memory mapping of this space. An emphasis is placed on context and narrative.

I have a strong interest in the concept of a therapeutic art practice, intentionally availing of the therapeutic benefits of art through my work.
