The 'Unravelling The Ribbon Torc' talk hosted by NCAD Design for Body and the Environment Master's 2022 graduate Eva Lynch. With invited speakers and artists Brian Clarke and Michael Good to discuss their discoveries in relation to the ribbon torc. Highlighting the importance of dedicating time to, and support for, what Paola Antonelli, (senior curator and Director of Research and Development at MoMA) described as "thinkering' - thinking with the hands.
We are also delighted to welcome Dr Edith Andrees into the conversation from their perspective as the Curator of Silver and Metalwork, Numismatics, Scientific Instruments at the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks.
