Privacy is something I have treated with importance throughout my life, perhaps too much so, as I would be considered someone who keeps to themself. Observing people who are the opposite made me wonder: what makes a person keep to themself, or conversely, overshare?

Through my research, I learned how people value their privacy and the specific factors that may have lead them to feel this way. As a result, I aim to communicate how privacy is valued in all sorts of ways, such as the prevalence of it in certain cultures or among individuals, and to have people think and evaluate their relationship with privacy.

My work is made mainly through traditional mediums such as pen and ink, and told through storytelling and comics, which I think is an effective way to communicate my aims and ideas for this project.
