Everybody has that one item of clothing that they can’t seem to part with. Maybe it's an old souvenir T-shirt from a trip or a present from a friend. Maybe it's something that reminds you of a particular person or place. For me, that item that I can never part with is my whole wardrobe.

My project explores our relationship with our clothes and questions why we have an emotional connection to the things we wear. Clothes are so much more than fabric and thread – they hold memories and tell stories. They can make us feel happy, sad, confident, and everything in between. Using both my own clothes and clothes belonging to others, my project aims to communicate some of these stories and emotions. My work focuses on how memories, feelings, and repair can affect our relationship with our clothes.
