I am interested in how our environment, and how we engage with it, impacts the work we make. I commute to Dublin for college each week from the West of Clare where I live and work. Living in Clare has impacted my relationship with my surroundings and the environment. The landscape here is very raw, real, varying and powerful. It is teaching me a new way of looking and seeing that is changing the way I perceive work and my relationship to the work I make. Getting outdoors and navigating my way through the varying terrains has become a new form of research for me and has been the fuel for this body of work which is a response and attempt to further my engagement with the landscapes that surround me.
